The Firm Foam pads offer better ink coverage and, in turn, better stamped images. Now, you are not required to replace all of your old stamp pads with the new firm foam pads.  In addition, please note the following about the new catalog:

• 12" x 12" Textured Card Stock will no longer be offered
• 12" x 12" Smooth Card Stock will only be available in select individual colors and color collections

Overwhelmed by the Retired List?

 

I know!!  So was I when I first saw it!!

I know that it is overwhelming, and it seems like there is A LOT retiring this year. That being said, Stampin' UP! ALWAYS replaces its retiring products with new, exciting and innovative NEW products!

Stampin' Up! has provided some information reguarding these changes.

Stamps:

• During this transition to the new annual catalog, there are a higher number of stamps being refreshed and replaced than usual. While many stamps are going away, most are being replaced so that the breadth of our stamp lines is every bit as broad as ever! And because the seasonal catalogs will be so much larger than before, there will be more seasonal stamp sets to choose from in those catalogs.

Inks:  

• Stampin' Up! is introducing a new Firm Foam pad in the Classic Stampin’ Pads with the 2012-2013 annual catalog. The Firm Foam pads offer better ink coverage, better stamped images, stays jucier, and lasts longer.
• Five ink colors have undergone formula changes to improve functionality and color stability with the new firm foam pads. These colors are: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, Tempting Turquoise. All five colors of the reformulated inks have been fully tested and approved. While using the new ink formula in the old Stampin' Pads is fine, we do not recommend using the old ink formula in the new firm foam pads.
• You CAN use your current refills on the new Firm Foam Pads (with the exception of the five reformulated colors).
• The Stampin' Spots will not have the new Firm Foam
• Craft Pads (except for Basic Black & Whisper White) will no longer be available.
• Craft Spots will no longer be available.
• Stampin’ Write Markers in more popular colors will still be available individually. However, low sales do not justify making all Stampin’ Write Markers available for individual purchase. Color assortments packs will still be available.

12 x 12 Card Stock:

• Not all 12" x 12" card stock colors will be available in individual packs anymore. Color assortment packs will be available, and some colors from each color collection will be available in individual packs.
• Textured 12 x 12 card stock will no longer be available

Simply Adorned & Decor Elements:

• These product lines will no longer be available. However, you may see them offered from time to time, not as product lines, but as embellishments or project-type kits

Retired Stamp Set List!

 

Hundreds of stamps and accessories from the 2011-2012 catalogs are retiring, and this is your chance to get them before they're gone. Many products are only available while supplies last, so be sure to get your orders in early!

Here are the key dates:

April 15:  Retiring Stamp sets - available until May 31

April 25:  Retiring Accessories & Definitely Decorative - available while supplies last

A super quick post today, because we're off again!!  It's been such a busy Spring Break this year, we are up an out most days before 8:00 in the morning!!

Today's sample uses the soothing, relaxing colors of Pear Pizzaz and Perfect Plum.  I feel more relaxed already!

It's finally Spring, so lets get together to make some cards!!  At April’s Card Class we'll make 6 cards, 2 each of 3 designs, using stamp sets & accessories from the IB&C, the Occasions Mini, and the new Summer Smooches promotion!
